Privacy and website-audit notice
This page explains what data VistaRank processes and what the report scores mean.
Data collected
We store the email and website URL you submit, public-page audit findings, scores and timestamps so reports can be saved, compared and followed up. We do not intentionally crawl password-protected content. If you authorise Google Search Console or Google Analytics, read-only tokens are encrypted and the retrieved metric snapshots are stored. Ranking and AI visibility checks also store the submitted keywords, customer questions, city, brand, service, competitors and results.
Website crawling
Submit only a public website that you own, manage or are authorised to test. VistaRank reads public HTML, robots.txt, sitemaps and llms.txt, and checks up to 50 public internal pages.
Report sharing
A permanent report link contains an unpredictable access token. Anyone who receives the link may be able to view the report, so protect it like a private document.
Third-party ranking data
The instant ranking check sends target keywords, city, language, device and public domains to a third-party SERP data provider to read a non-personalised Google Malaysia snapshot. It does not include your Google account, browsing history or personalised results.
AI recommendation visibility
When you run an AI visibility check, customer questions, city and service scope are sent to configured OpenAI, Google Gemini or Perplexity APIs. Answer excerpts, citations and brand/competitor matches are stored. This API snapshot may differ from answers shown to individual consumer accounts.
Read-only Google Analytics data
The AI Referral report requests read-only Analytics access to list authorised GA4 properties and retrieve the latest 28 days of sources, sessions, engaged sessions, key events, revenue and landing pages. Tokens are encrypted; VistaRank does not change Analytics settings.
Scores and limitations
Scores are diagnostic indicators based on the current rule set. They do not guarantee rankings, traffic or AI citations. Search Console data appears only after owner authorisation. The audit does not include a global backlink database, password-protected pages or guaranteed monitoring of every consumer AI answer.
Data deletion
VistaRank is currently in an owner-testing stage. Before commercial release, it will provide formal download, correction and deletion-request processes with a stated retention period.
